Cookies are small files or identifiers that may be stored on a user's device or accessed when the user visits a website.
Cookies and similar technologies may be used for the operation of the website, session management, authentication, account functionality, shopping cart and checkout functionality, remembering preferences, security, measuring website usage, or identifying the source of a visit or order.
In this Policy, the term “cookies” also includes, where relevant, similar technologies that allow information to be stored on or accessed from the user's device.
4. Consent and Strictly Necessary Cookies
Cookies and similar technologies are used in accordance with applicable legislation on electronic communications and personal data protection.
Where information processed through these technologies constitutes personal data, Regulation (EU) 2016/679 – GDPR also applies.
Strictly necessary cookies may be used without consent where they are required exclusively for the transmission of a communication or for providing a service expressly requested by the user.
Non-essential cookies and similar technologies for which applicable law requires consent are not activated, and information is not stored on or accessed from the user's device, unless and until valid consent has been given.
5. Categories of Cookies
Depending on the services in use and the technical configuration of the website, the following categories may be used:
Functional / strictly necessary cookies – enable the operation of the website, authentication, session management, security, account functionality, the shopping cart, checkout and the storage of cookie preferences.
Preference cookies – may remember certain choices made by the user, such as language or other interface preferences.
Statistical cookies – may be used to measure website usage, identify the source of visits or attribute orders. Where applicable law requires consent, these cookies are activated only after consent has been given.
Marketing cookies – may be used for advertising, remarketing, ad personalisation or behavioural tracking for advertising purposes. As of the date of this Policy, Nordic Prime does not intentionally use such technologies.
6. Technologies Used on nordicprime.ro
The website currently uses, in particular:

WooCommerce – for e-commerce functionality;
Complianz – for managing consent and cookie preferences;
TranslatePress – for multilingual functionality;
Sourcebuster JS – for information relating to the source of visits and order attribution;
fonturi și alte resurse tehnice – required for the display and operation of the website.
The exact list of active cookies and services may vary depending on the technical configuration and is reflected in the technical cookie inventory available through the cookie management mechanism.
7. WordPress and WooCommerce
WordPress and WooCommerce may use cookies or similar technologies necessary for authentication, session management, security, account functionality, storing shopping cart contents, checkout and order processing.
These technologies are considered strictly necessary only to the extent that they are essential for the operation of the website or for providing a service expressly requested by the user.
Nordic Prime does not use these cookies for behavioural advertising.
8. Complianz and Consent Management
Nordic Prime uses Complianz to manage preferences relating to cookies and similar technologies.
Complianz may use identifiers necessary to remember the user's choices, record accepted or rejected categories, avoid repeatedly displaying the consent banner unnecessarily, and respect the user's preferences on subsequent visits.
These technologies serve a functional purpose and allow the website to remember and respect the user's choices.
9. Sourcebuster JS
WooCommerce may use technologies associated with Sourcebuster JS to identify the source of a visit and attribute an order.
Depending on the configuration, the information may include the source of the visit, the referring page, traffic type, campaign parameters, session information and the attribution of an order to a particular source.
The use and classification of these technologies depend on their technical configuration and actual purpose.
Where a technology used for this purpose requires consent under applicable law, it is activated only after consent has been given.
10. TranslatePress and Language Preferences
The website uses TranslatePress to provide versions of the website in multiple languages.
Depending on the technical configuration, information may be used to identify the selected language, retain the user's language preference and display the corresponding version of the website.
Where such information is strictly necessary to provide the language requested by the user, it may be used as part of the requested functionality.
11. Fonts and Other Technical Resources
The website may use fonts and other technical resources required to display its content.
Where possible, Nordic Prime seeks to limit the unnecessary transmission of information to external services.
Where an external resource involves storing or accessing information on a user's device or processing personal data, the relevant service is assessed and configured in accordance with applicable consent and data protection requirements.
12. Statistical and Marketing Services
As of the date of this Policy, Nordic Prime does not use Google Analytics, Matomo or any other external service specifically intended for behavioural analysis of website visitors.
Nordic Prime also does not intentionally use Meta Pixel, Google Ads Remarketing or similar behavioural advertising technologies.
If such services are introduced in the future, they will be assessed and, where applicable law requires consent, they will not be activated unless and until valid consent has been obtained.
13. Social Media and External Content
The website may contain links to social media platforms or other external services.
If elements such as YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, Google Maps or other services that may place cookies or use tracking technologies are integrated in the future, their technical behaviour will be assessed before activation.
Where such a service requires consent, it will remain blocked until the user has given the required consent.
Simply updating this Policy does not replace the technical configuration required or the need to obtain consent where consent is mandatory.
14. First-Party and Third-Party Cookies
First-party cookies are placed or used through the nordicprime.ro domain.
Third-party cookies may be placed or accessed by external services integrated into the website.
The use of an external provider does not mean that the provider automatically receives all information processed by Nordic Prime.
The information accessible to the provider depends on the service used, the technical configuration, the purpose of the processing and the user's choices.
15. Cookie Duration
Cookies may be:
session cookies – used temporarily and generally deleted after the session ends or the browser is closed;
persistent cookies – stored for a defined period or until they are deleted.
The exact duration depends on the function of the cookie, the technology used and the configuration of the relevant service.
Individual retention periods are shown, where available, in the technical cookie inventory.
16. Technical Cookie Inventory
Nordic Prime uses the scanning mechanism available through Complianz to identify cookies and services detected on the website.
The technical inventory may indicate:
cookie name;
provider;
purpose;
category;
duration;
associated domain.
The technical inventory complements this Policy and may be updated according to the cookies and services detected on the website.
An automated scan does not guarantee that every technology will be detected in every situation.
Results may vary depending on the page accessed, whether the user is authenticated, use of the customer account, shopping cart or checkout, active services and the consent given.
Cookies detected exclusively in administrative areas, webmail or other internal technical services are not necessarily used in relation to ordinary website visitors.
17. Managing Cookie Preferences
Through the consent management mechanism available on the website, the user may, depending on the active categories:
accept non-essential cookies; reject non-essential cookies; select specific categories; save preferences; change their choice later; withdraw consent.
Rejecting non-essential cookies does not, in principle, prevent access to the essential functionality of the website.
Where consent is required, it must be freely given, specific, informed and unambiguous.
Simply continuing to browse, taking no action or using preselected options does not, by itself, constitute valid consent to non-essential cookies.
Withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before the withdrawal.
18. Managing Cookies Through Your Browser
In addition to the mechanism available on the website, users may manage cookies through their browser settings.
Depending on the browser, users may view or delete existing cookies and may block certain categories, third-party cookies or all cookies.
Blocking all cookies may affect the operation of services such as authentication, the customer account, shopping cart, checkout or the storage of preferences.
19. Data That May Be Processed

IP address; online identifiers; browser and device information; operating system; session information; authentication status; language preferences; pages accessed; shopping cart information; source of the visit; other technical information relating to website usage.
Where such information allows a natural person to be identified directly or indirectly, it is processed in accordance with applicable personal data protection legislation.
